Jesus was the embodiment of love.  He was God in the flesh.  He chose to come to earth as a man.  He chose to die on a cross as payment for your sins and mine.  That is how much he loves you.  That is how much he desires a relationship with you.  Find out who he is for yourself.  Don’t make assumptions about him based upon the Christians you know.  Christians are flawed but Jesus is not.  He came to earth not as a King, but as a servant.  He hung out with sinners, he had compassion for the poor, the sick, those that were down and out.  He loved both the oppressed and the oppressor.  Don’t seek out religion, seek out Jesus.  Confess your sins to him, ask for his forgiveness, acknowledge he can save you.  The hope he can give you is not of this world, it’s eternal life in a perfect place with him where there is no hunger, there is no fear, there is no immigrant, there is no oppressed, there is no oppressor.

Seek Him and you will not be disappointed.
